Our Services

We offer some of the best dance classes and music lessons in the Toronto Beaches area! Our lessons run from September through June, culminating in a professionally managed recital. This recital provides students with the opportunity to perform in costumes and on stage for their friends and family. The Beaches Dance & Music Studio offers a variety of classes, including dance, acrobatics, musical theatre, and instrumental lessons. We take pride in our fun and structured learning environment that teaches dance, singing, and acting in a friendly and nurturing manner. Come train with us!

Our Dance Company

Beaches Dance & Music Studio has always had a very high standard of training for each and every one of our dance students. Our dancers compete in various competitions and festivals every spring and perform in local community events.

Our extremely disciplined Competitive Company Dancers represent the hard work, dedication, and talent of our Studio. They are enthusiastically committed to their training and devote hundreds of hours of hard work to become their best.

As we all know, ballet training is the foundation used for most dance disciplines. Therefore, along with Company classes, all of our Competitive Company Dancers are required to take an acrobatic class, train in our RAD ballet program, and participate in one other dance discipline (excluding hip hop). Company Dancers are selected by our faculty based on their dedication, focus, hard work, level of technique, and of course love of the art!

The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education organizations. RAD exams set standards in classical ballet worldwide and are a global leader in dance education and Continuing Professional Development for dance. Founded in 1920 to set standards for dance teaching in the UK, today RAD has a presence in 79 countries, with 36 offices and approximately 14,000 members worldwide. There are more than 1,000 students in the teacher training programs and more than a quarter of a million students are being examined on the RAD syllabi.

The Beaches Dance & Music Studio is very proud to have been offering the RAD syllabus to our ballet students for the past 10 years! Our highly trained ballet instructors, along with our certified RAD ballet teacher have been training and preparing our dancers with their technique, strength, and artistry to become the absolute best ballet dancers possible. BDM students who are interested in being considered for the yearly RAD exams are required to attend ballet class twice weekly.
